GLOSSYBOX JANUARY 2014: BACK TO BASICS.

I've been reading about GlossyBoxes ever since they came out, but for some reason I didn't sign up getting one every month. Ever since I decided to start writing a blog, I thought I would jump on the GlossyBox bangwagon and I'm glad that I did. This month's theme is Back To Basics. With it being the first month of the year and after the festive period, this is box is very ideal. I have learnt that there tends to be an item that catches the owners eye, but I don't see it with this months GlossyBox. I'm not complaining though as all of the items will get used nevertheless.

Yu-Be Moisturising Skin Cream (two 3g tubes)
Have ever you smelt Carmex before? This moisturiser smells just like it! Yu-Be is a brand that originates from Japan, and I love the feel of this moisturiser. It soaks into the skins almost immediately and it doesn't feel sticky either, which can be a huge issue with other moisturisers. This moisturiser aims to revamp the skin and it is essential for all skin care regimes. The moisuriser contains vitamin E, vitamin B2, camphor and a uniquley high glycerine content. No wonder my skin feels so soft now!
A full size (33g) of this is worth £13.50 from www.onestopbeauty.co.uk

Balance Me Super toning body wash (50ml)
I'm not sure whether I like this smell or not. The body wash I tend to go for has either a fruity or floral scent. I'm struggling to think of what the scent reminds me of. Not only is this product used to wash yourself in the shower, but you can also pour it into the bath whilst you're running a bath. This item is recommended to be used in your morning shower as toning body was is a great way to start the day and to give you a good boost!
A full size (250ml) of this product is worth £10.25 from www.balanceme.co.uk

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweezers
I've been trying to find a pair of tweezers for ages, or I just forget to buy myself some. I usually use the little tweezers in my Sleek Brow Kit, but I am loving these. For a few years now I have been a huge fan of floral patterns. Now I have these to add to my collection! I think I've fallen more in love with the actual pattern on the tweezers than I have with the actual tweezers. It's vital that you have a pair of tweezers that can catch those awkward, small hairs and these tweezers do exactly that. I would definitely recommend them! They also come in a little plastic, yet thick, wallet which is always handy.
The tweezers are worth £8 from www.thevintagecosmeticcompany.co.uk

Anatomicals Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Wake-up Under Eye Patches (two packets of two patches)
Now I think/hope these eye patches will work for my baggy eyes. The idea of these eye patches is to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and revatalise the delicate skin around your eyes! I can't wait to test these out tonight, I might give the other set of patches to my mum if she's up for it!
You can get a three pack of these eye patches for £6 from www.asos.com

Montagne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off Masque and Blemish Mud Masque (two full size sachets)
I've had these face masks before and I do like them. Some of them can have a messy application but I still do like them. These masks are used to get rid of dirt and cleanse the skin and pores to the core. I definitely recommend them, and are get to use when you are having a girly night in pampering. I am definitely using one tonight, ready for my birthday night out tomorrow!
You can find these face masks anywhere! However they are £1.09 from www.montagnejeunesse.com/face-masks

Thank you very much for taking your time to read this blog post and maybe encouraged you to purchase a GlossyBox. Have a lovely weekend!
